Surprise of the day.
It started ringing at 9 am and I was in my deep cozy sleep. I saw the name flashed; well I would have dropped that call if he wasn’t our Client Service Head
Me: Helllllllllloooo (in decreasing tone)
Other side: There is some urgent changes in Job which was in press .we need to stop that and you have to send new file with some changes in event venue. (Damm it .Taj people have changed on 11th hour.) Are you listening to me?
Me: Oh man I slipped into bed at 5 in morning after burning night lamps. Ok! whatever, give me 30 minutes.
I went to sleep again; I need some serious sleep now. That wasn’t end I got call again in 40 minutes.
Other side: “I know you still sleeping but please send that file asap client is waiting for final approval “ .
Me: OK OK hang on. I just send it
Reluctantly I peeked out from under my cozy blanket, and opened one bleary eye.Ok got my laptop. Was just sending mails and I heard car stopping outside. By the time I turned to my door . For one blank minute I looked at him. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey dada ( i wasn’t expecting him today here… in India)
“Hey how are you” he asked with smile on his face
“I’m good, just woke up ” I answered with warm hug) and he asked me where is aunty.
“She is upstairs. wait I just come with you. Btw congrates for winning doubles title in Bangkok ”
Everyone was happy to see him after Davis Cup. He left after 20 minutes to Hotel and all i wanted was to snooze a little while longer… couldn’t sleep because I had to rush to Bank .I’m already late
I need some sleep. ofcourse
