Dust of fear.

Another ‘Monday’ means fresh new week start but today I get up late. I’m home all day; sleeping or listening gazals. I am in no hurry today to reach anywhere or be with anybody. I am in peace with myself. Cup of black coffee and one glance at the newspaper here. Every single page is full of wretched face of terrorism attack in Delhi on 29th October. A brief hunt for the TV remote and a lazy glance through news channels. Totally chillaxed.
My cook is on festical leave so at the end of the day I have to cook. For me cooking is hobby. Then again, women love men who do.
Thanx to my pal she prepared Lemon Rice in lunch, it was nice enjoyable meal.
Yestaerday night we went to East of Delhi, generally it take 2 hours to reach during weekends or may b more during festivals but we were not surprised to see that traffice was very smooth all the way. On our way back to home we decided to shop at nearby market There we could see crowd .Yes that’s th spirit of Delhi. Delhi is back to normal within 24 hour of tragic incident.

Delhi bounces back
As I thought of blogging I got to know that Shekar Kapur was very near to the blast effected area. According to Deepak Chopra “The latest bombing attack in India reminds us that terrorism is going to keep on striking regularly and at random.”

There is a dealthy hush.
From some houses rises silent,
Thick black smoke,
Its heart sullied,
Spreading far and wide, engulfing everything.
There is a dealthy hush.

The street – lifeless as a corpse
A broken barrow tuned upside down,
Its wheel in the air,
Gazes at the heavens in amazement,
As if it still cannot believe
What happened.
There is a dealthy hush.

A smashed up shop,
Like a mouth wide open
After a scream,
Looks from its broken doors,
As the fragments of bangles
Scattered afar
